Bombardier signs Q400 aircraft maintenance agreement with Republic Airlines

Bombardier Aerospace has signed an exclusive nine-year heavy maintenance agreement with Indianapolis-based Republic Airlines for its 32 Q400 aircraft. Under this agreement, Bombardier will perform all heavy maintenance tasks for the airline’s fleet of Q400 aircraft at its service centres in Macon, Georgia and Tucson, Arizona through June 2021. In addition, Republic Airlines has agreed to terms to enrol its aircraft in the Bombardier Smart Parts program, which will provide competitive and predictable repair costs and superior availability of key components for its Q400 aircraft fleet.
