Allegiant receives ETOPS certification and flag carrier status from FAA

Allegiant has obtained Extended-range Operations (ETOPS) certification and Flag Carrier Status from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). The company announced earlier this year its entrance into Hawaii. ETOPS certification and Flag Carrier status are both necessary for flying to Hawaii.
