NAT obtains FAA and HKCAD certification for work on Cathay's 747-400 Premium Economy Class

Northwest Aerospace Technologies (NAT) obtained FAA STC Certification and Hong Kong Civil Aviation Department (HKCAD) VSTC approval for the installation of Cathay Pacific’s (Cathay) Premium Economy product including new Premium Economy class seats, new cabin monuments and associated furnishings for the airlines B747-400 aircraft fleet. The prototype modification was accomplished at Hong Kong Aircraft Engineering Company (HAECO) where follow-on 747-400 aircraft modifications continue through 2012. NAT is also working with Cathay as project integrator to develop the airlines A340-300 Premium Economy product. The A340-300s will be modified at HAECO under an NAT EASA STC with HKCAD VSTC approval beginning in 2013.
