FAA adds Boeing South Carolina operations to Boeing Commercial Airplanes production certificate

Boeing released that the Federal Aviation Administration has added its Boeing South Carolina operations to the Boeing Commercial Airplanes production certificate, PC 700. The production certificate allows the company to produce and sell commercial airplanes. The certificate is issued once an airplane manufacturer has demonstrated to the FAA that its facilities and quality management system meet the agency’s stringent safety and reliability requirements. Boeing South Carolina’s addition to the Boeing production certificate follows an extremely successful FAA Manufacturing Inspection District Office audit that validated the sites’ compliance with the Boeing Quality Management System.
