Pattonair implements first deliveries in Pratt & Whitney contract

Pattonair, a leading global aerospace and defence supply chain service provider, has implemented delivery of ‘C’ class engine parts to Pratt & Whitney Global Service Partner’s Turkish Engine Centre (TEC) in Istanbul. Under the terms of the contract, which was signed last December, the parts will be supplied in over 100 different kits, comprising some 800 items in total, and used in the repair and overhaul of four engine types – the CFM56-3C, CFM56-5C, CFM56-7B and IAE V2500. In addition, a further 1200 items will be held in stock and available through an automated window pick process. To facilitate the amount of overhauls TEC anticipates over the coming years, a forward stocking warehouse has been established at the TEC site which will be manned by a team of 7 Pattonair employees.
