SR Technics redelivers second VIP aircraft to Middle Eastern customer

SR Technics, part of the Mubadala Aerospace MRO network, redelivered its second VIP aircraft on-time to a Middle Eastern customer. After a complete refurbishment in SR Technics’ new VIP facilities in Zurich, the aircraft cabin looks as new and features an upgraded state-of-the-art In-flight Entertainment (IFE) system and an additional communications system. The redelivery of the second VIP aircraft took place in mid-August, on the exact date defined at the start of the project. The cabin refurbishment included the exchange of multiple materials, following existing design guidelines and color schemes. The newly installed carpeting and flooring as well as the reupholstered seats add a luxurious modern look, touch and feel to the interior. Handcrafted new furniture and cabinets optimize in-flight cabin space and functionality, using VVIP standards and finishes. Thanks to a reconfiguration of the cabin, the customer is now able to adapt the interior set-up flexibly to accommodate changing operational needs. A heavy maintenance C-Check was carried out in parallel. This allowed the downtime to be kept to a minimum, thanks to SR Technics’ ability to combine VIP services with its long-standing MRO experience.
