TAME extends support contract with Barfield

TAME, Ecuador’s flag carrier, has extended its contract with Barfield, a Sabena technics company, for the support of two additional Airbus A319. This new agreement is an extension of the 6-year contract between TAME and Barfield for the full support of its six A320 family aircraft. Within the scope of this contract, Barfield will increase the inventory of the Main Base components in order to fit TAME’s new requirements, following the addition of two Airbus A319. This agreement includes test, repair and overhaul of rotable components as well as full pool access and engineering support. In January 2012, Barfield had also been awarded a 5-year contract with TAME for the full support of its fleet of three ATR42-500.
