JetBlue reports third quarter net income of $45m

JetBlue Airways reported its results for the third quarter 2012. Operating income for the quarter was $113m, resulting in an 8.6% operating margin, compared to operating income of $108m and a 9.0% operating margin in the third quarter of 2011. Pre-tax income of $73m in the third quarter  compared to pre-tax income of $56m in the third quarter of 2011. Net income for the third quarter was $45m compared to JetBlue’s third quarter 2011 net income of $35m.
