AFI KLM E&M modifies A321 cabin for AerCap

AerCap signed a contract with AFI KLM E&M for cabin modifications and an overhaul on one of its A321 aircraft. The leasing company had recovered its aircraft from an airline in India and wanted to lease it to an operator in Russia. Following the AFI KLM E&M tender, AerCap commissioned the Group to carry out a general 6-year check as well as a C4 heavy maintenance check, which in particular includes an overhaul of the control system circuits and on-board computers. Besides painting the aircraft in the livery of its new operator the contract also included a cabin modification, changing 199 seats in Economy Class to 220.
