MTU Maintenance Berlin-Brandenburg completes 5,000th engine overhaul

Since its foundation in 1991, MTU Maintenance Berlin-Brandenburg, has now overhauled a total of 5,000 engines, of which 3,500 are engines from Pratt & Whitney Canada, 500 CF34 engines and 1,000 industrial gas turbines. In addition, the company has supported its customers with many on-site and field visits as well as module repairs. “We are very proud of our success”, said André Sinanian, Managing Director of MTU Maintenance Berlin-Brandenburg. “The number of engines that come into our shop demonstrates that we are on the right track in the MRO market. We are confident that we will further continue down this road in the future.” MTU Maintenance Berlin-Brandenburg is the second largest maintenance location in the MTU network of companies and focuses on the repair and overhaul of commercial turboshaft and turbojet engines and of industrial gas turbines.
