AeroMobile line-fits cleared for takeoff

The first aircraft to be fully installed by Boeing with the AeroMobile inflight mobile service has been delivered to its customer Thai Airways International. The AeroMobile service, which enables passengers to use their mobile devices to call, text, email, and browse the internet inflight, has reached a significant milestone in being installed as a standard option on the Boeing 777-300ER during its assembly in Seattle. Although for many years airlines have been able to opt for provisions for this service, this landmark delivery represents the first of seven AeroMobile line-fitted Boeing 777-300ER aircraft to be delivered fully installed and operational to Thai Airways International alone in the next 12 months.
