STS Component Solutions acquires first CFM56-7B

STS Component Solutions announced the acquisition of a CFM56-7B Engine. The engine was previously operated by Austrian Airlines. STS Component Solutions will have the engine disassembled at a facility in Miami. Once the components are removed, they will be re-certified and available for sale. The CFM56-7B Engine is the most popular engine in commercial aviation as it is flown by more than 190 customers. Nearly 8,400 CFM56-7B engines are in service on 737 aircraft. This engine acquisition further broadens STS Component Solutions’ engine component service offerings.
