Unison Industries has been awarded a life-of-the-program contract by Snecma (Safran) to provide its air cooled oil coolers for the LEAP-1B engine produced by CFM International. GE Capital Aviation Services Limited (GECAS) announced the delivery of two leased Boeing 737-400s to new customer AeroContractors Company of Nigeria Limited. Deliveries were made in September and December to expand the airline’s fleet.

Cebu Pacific Air took delivery of its first A320 equipped with Sharklets, becoming the first operator of the new fuel-saving wing tip devices in the Philippines. Air Lease Corporation reported that LIAT (Leeward Islands Air Transport) and ALC signed long term lease agreements for two new ATR 72-600 aircraft, delivering in June and August 2013. Antigua-based LIAT is owned by 11 different governments in the Eastern Caribbean, and is the major scheduled airline operator in that region.
