Turkish Airlines orders five additional A330 passenger aircraft

Turkish Airlines has signed a firm order for two additional A330-300 passenger aircraft and three options as part of the carrier’s continued growth plans. The additional order for the A330 Family is taking their total firm order for the type to 38. Turkish Airlines placed their first order with Airbus in 1984, and today operate 104 Airbus in total. The new aircraft will be deployed on medium and long haul routes from the Turkish Airlines hub in Istanbul.
