SkyWorks appoints new Managing Director for Asia Pacific Region

SkyWorks appointed Mathis Shinnick to serve as Managing Director of SkyWorks and eventual head for Asia Pacific Region. Mathis will be based in Hong Kong where he will focus on further development of the SkyWorks Capital Asia platform. Mathis has spent his career in Aviation and Aerospace leadership roles managing leasing, merchant banking and investment banking entities. His experience includes corporate finance advisory buy- and sell-side assignments, debt and equity placements, structured asset finance, transportation asset equity funds and lease finance. Prior to joining SkyWorks, Mathis was the CEO of Hong Kong Aviation Capital (HKAC) and President of HNA Group International Headquarter (Hong Kong), a transportation investment and leasing entity based in Hong Kong.
