EADS appoints Guillaume Faury new CEO of Eurocopter

The EADS Board of Directors has accepted the resignation of Lutz Bertling as Chief Executive Officer of Eurocopter and Member of the EADS Group Executive Committee, effective 30 April 2013. Bertling has been at the helm of the Group’s helicopter Division since November 2006 and had recently expressed his desire to depart the Group in pursuit of another professional opportunity in Germany. The EADS Board of Directors has appointed Guillaume Faury to succeed Lutz Bertling. Effective 1 May 2013, Faury joins Eurocopter from Peugeot S.A., where he has served as Executive Vice President for Research & Development since 2010 and as Member of the Managing Board since 2009.
