Integration of Lufthansa Technik AERO Alzey into the Lufthansa Technik Design Organisation

Lufthansa Technik AERO Alzey (LTAA) has now officially been integrated into the Lufthansa Technik Design Organisation.
So-called Minor Design Changes and Repairs will be approved at the Lufthansa Technik Design Organisation. The Design Organisation is led by Mr. Bernhard Conrad, the Head of the Design Organisation. The integration into the Design Organisation of Lufthansa Technik is another important milestone for Lufthansa Technik AERO Alzey and will improve its competitiveness on the engine maintenance market for Regional Operators. Due to increasing customer cost saving demands for MRO services for regional aircrafts as well as a continued ambition for innovations, the managing directors of Lufthansa Technik AERO Alzey, Mark Johnson (CEO) and Martin Hach (COO), initialised the integration into the Lufthansa Technik Design Organisation in 2011. The project “EASA Part 21/J” started in the summer of 2011 under the lead of Project Manager Mirko Roeder, Customer Support Engineer with Lufthansa Technik AERO Alzey. Mirko Roeder has obtained the authorisation as a Design Engineer.
