StarFlyer und Lufthansa Technik extend and expand cooperation

Japanese airline StarFlyer und Lufthansa Technik are extending and expanding their cooperation. The technical support provided since the airline began operating in 2006 is now being continued and even broadened through a Total Technical Support TTS contract valid through 2022. As part of its comprehensive supply of the airline’s current fleet of eleven Airbus A320s, Lufthansa Technik has been contracted to provide an expanded range of services for the engines and landing gears. In addition, for the first time Lufthansa Technik will take over the complete execution and integrated support of a customer’s lease returns. Founded seven years ago with initially three Airbus A320s, StarFlyer offers domestic service to destinations in Japan as well as connections to Korea. Currently the fleet consists of eleven aircraft.
