Ascent Aviation Services signs contract with Miami Air International

Ascent Aviation Services (Tucson AZ) has signed a contract for heavy maintenance on two B737-800 aircraft for Miami Air
International. The ASCENT facilities located at Tucson International Airport consist of 23 acres of concrete ramp, over
34,000 ft² of hangar space along with 77,000 ft² of backshop and secured consignment space in an ideal desert climate. The FAA, EASA, NCAA and AFRA Certified repair station specializes in B737 Classic, B737NG, MD80/90, B717, CRJ 100/200 and Airbus A320 (Limited) aircraft. Ascent performs heavy and line maintenance, modifications, transition, aircraft refurbishment, storage and reclamation services along with consigned part sales. Ascent’s workforce has completed more than 550 heavy maintenance and modification visits on B737 and MD80 fleet types since 2002.
