Air China Technics and AFI KLM E&M step up MRO partnership

AFI KLM E&M and Air China Technics jointly expressed their intention to extend the scope of their cooperation in the aircraft maintenance sphere. The initiative is part of a partnership and exchange program between the two parties. Under the terms of the agreement, the AIR FRANCE KLM group will see one of its Boeing 747-400s undergo a heavy maintenance check carried out by Air China subsidiary AMECO. Facilitated by the successful outcomes of previous partnership initiatives, the new agreements reflect a common desire to consolidate dialogue and relations between the two companies. AFI KLM E&M and Air China Technics have already reached agreement on the design and implementation of a 2-way, long-term training program for a significant number of engineers and managers from both companies.
