GECAS delivers new Boeing 787 to TUI Travel in purchase-and-leaseback deal

GECAS, the commercial aircraft leasing arm of GE, reported delivery of a new Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner to TUI Travel as part of a purchase-and-leaseback transaction. A second 787 aircraft is scheduled for delivery to TUI Travel later this month. GECAS placed an order directly with Boeing in September 2013 for 10 of the Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner models. These aircraft are scheduled for delivery beginning in 2019. TUI Travel PLC is one of the world’s leading international leisure travel groups operating in approximately 180 countries worldwide.
