TIMCO secures CRJ200 interiors modification programme

TIMCO Aviation Services began interiors modification work on the first CRJ200 aircraft in a fleet operated by a leading North American airline. TIMCO will retrofit more than three dozen of the same aircraft type, with all work being performed at the company’s Cincinnati-Northern Kentucky International Airport aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul facility. The comprehensive programme involves a variety of updates to each aircraft interior, including recovering walls with new laminates, restoring overhead bins, adding lighting enhancements and refinishing passenger seats with new leather covers. TIMCO’s Cincinnati operation, an airframe MRO facility specialising in regional jet scheduled maintenance and modifications, will dedicate two continuous lines of work to the programme running through November.
