AAR’s Nordisk receives orders for nearly 400 ULDs for Xiamen Airlines’ B787s

AAR’s Nordisk Aviation Products has received orders for nearly 400 lightweight air cargo containers and pallets from Xiamen Airlines for its first Boeing 787-8 aircraft. Nordisk ULDs are the lightest weight in the industry, and will save the airline, which is based in the Fujian Province of China, a minimum 350 tons of fuel a year and reduce CO₂ emissions by more than 1,200 tons.
