Second A380 added to Amedeo’s Portfolio

Following the acquisition of MSN 157 in early September, Amedeo announced the addition of a second A380 to its owned aircraft portfolio. The aircraft bearing Manufacturer’s Serial Number (MSN) 164 was delivered yesterday at the Airbus Delivery Centre in Hamburg and was placed on a 12-year operating lease with Emirates. The financing arrangements followed a similar fact pattern to the financing structure of MSN 157. The senior and junior loans were provided by a bank syndicate, including Commercial Bank International, China Construction Bank, Dubai Branch (CCB), Qatar National Bank (QNB), Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank and Westpac Banking Corporation (Westpac). As in the previous transaction, Westpac acted as the Senior Agent and the Security Trustee and QNB acted as the Junior Agent.
