Alaska Air Group names Bryan Shillito Managing Director of safety programs

Bryan Shillito has been named managing director of safety programs for Alaska Air Group, the parent company of Alaska Airlines and Horizon Air. Shillito will lead Air Group’s cross-organizational safety programs and ensure a robust Safety Management System (SMS). Shillito joined Alaska Airlines in 2008 as the director of the internal evaluation program (IEP) and later became Alaska’s director of safety assurance. Prior to joining Alaska Airlines, Shillito worked in safety and operations management roles at various airlines, including Northwest Airlines and US Airways.
