V Air launches maiden flight

Taiwan-based V Air is off the ground for the first time with its maiden service from Taipei to Bangkok. The carrier’s first flight ZV005 took off from Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport at 6:40 a.m. with a nearly full load of passengers. The route will be operated daily, using an Airbus A321 aircraft. V Air brings everyday low fares to the Taiwan market.The airline will operate a brand new fleet of Airbus A320 and A321 aircraft in an all economy configuration and focus on markets in NEAsia and SEAsia – within a 4hour flight of Taiwan.
