Abu Dhabi International Airport sees 20.7% increase in traffic for January 2015

Abu Dhabi Airports announced that passenger traffic at Abu Dhabi International Airport increased by 20.7% in January 2015. A total of 1,887,631 passengers passed through Abu Dhabi International Airport during the month, compared with 1,564,266 in January 2014. There were 14,128 aircraft movements in January 2015, which was an 18% increase over January 2014’s figure of 11,972. Cargo activity comprised 64,479 tonnes handled at the airport’s three terminals in January 2015, an 11% increase when compared to January 2014.
