Waypoint Leasing closes US$85m term loan facility

Waypoint Leasing, the independent global helicopter leasing company, has closed on a five year US$85m term loan facility led by Deutsche Bank AG. The company will use the proceeds to support its customers through the provision of further liquidity into the global helicopter market. This financing brings Waypoint’s total debt commitments to more than US$1.2bn and, together with its previously announced equity commitments, its total financing to US$1.7bn to support helicopter lease transactions for its diverse customer base. Waypoint’s acquired fleet includes more than 100 aircraft delivered and on lease and operating in 22 countries, with total assets of US$1.2bn.
