Delta TechOps expands APU maintenance services for Sun Country Airlines’ Boeing 737 fleet

Delta TechOps, has expanded its relationship with Sun Country Airlines of St. Paul, Minn. Under a new agreement, Delta TechOps will extend its auxiliary power unit (APU) partnership with Sun Country for an additional five-year term. As Sun Country Airlines’ exclusive APU partner, Delta TechOps will provide maintenance on the GTCP 131-9B APUs for Sun Country’s fleet of 21 Boeing 737 aircraft. The agreement, which extends into 2019, continues to solidify a working partnership that began in 2001. This contract follows Sun Country’s recent 3-year exclusive agreement with Delta TechOps for their 737 landing gear overhauls with exchange gears.
