GECAS signs purchase-and-leaseback deal with VRG Linhas Aéreas S.A. for four new Boeing 737-800s

GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS) announced delivery of a new leased Boeing 737-800 aircraft to VRG Linhas Aéreas S.A. as part of a four-aircraft purchase-and-leaseback transaction. The three remaining aircraft in the deal are scheduled for delivery later in 2015, 2016 and 2017. VRG Linhas Aéreas, the parent company of Gol, is the second largest carrier in Brazil, operating a fleet of 140 aircraft to 15 international destinations in 11 countries and 56 domestic destinations.
