Jet Midwest Group has completed the final of a three part transaction under which Jet Midwest acquired a total of thirteen aircraft from American Airlines. Included in the transaction were five Boeing 757-200 aircraft, three Boeing 767 aircraft, and five MD80 aircraft. Jet Midwest has already placed all of the MD80 aircraft and one of the 767 aircraft. Jet Midwest’s unique business model allows the remaining 757-200, 767-200 aircraft and RB211 engines to be sold, leased, converted to freighters, or dismantled for parts sales based on the demands of its customer base worldwide.
