Liebherr Group’s turnover in the 2014 business year reaches total of €8,823m

Against a background of moderate international economic development, Liebherr recorded a slight change in turnover for the 2014 business year, with a total of €8,823m, 1.6% (€141m) below the previous year’s figure. Liebherr’s construction machinery and mining division achieved a turnover of €5,294m, €336m or 6.0% below the previous year’s figure. The result was positive, however, in the area represented by the maritime cranes, aerospace and transportation systems, machine tools and automation systems, domestic appliances, components and hotels divisions, with an increase in turnover of €195m or 5.8% to €3,529m. The profit for the reporting period was €316m, equivalent to a drop of €48m compared with the previous year.
