TUI Airlines and Lufthansa Technik agree on partnership

Lufthansa Technik AG becomes technical service partner for the aircraft fleet of TUI Airlines. TUI Airlines and Lufthansa Technik have negotiated and signed an appropriate Letter of Intent (LoI). The holiday airlines of the worldwide largest travel company TUI operate a fleet of about 140 medium- and long-range aircraft, mainly the types Boeing 737,757, 767 and 787. In the future, Lufthansa Technik will support the internal overhaul and maintenance business units of the holiday airlines as their new service provider for aircraft overhaul services.
