GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS), the commercial aircraft financing and leasing arm of GE, has reported the appointment of Sharon Green as Chief Operating Officer for GECAS Asset Management Services (AMS), its aircraft spare-parts business. AMS is one of the largest worldwide distributors of recertified components for Airbus, Boeing, and Bombardier aircraft, and provides a wide variety of parts, ranging from avionics to thrust reversers. Green has more than 30 years of experience in finance, risk and management. She joined The Memphis Group in 1992 as Chief Financial Officer. In 2006, when GECAS acquired The Memphis Group, she served as the integration leader and as interim Chief Operating Officer since December 2014 following the retirement of Cathy Williams.
