For the second quarter 2015, Spirit’s total operating revenue was US$553.4m, an increase of 10.8% compared to the second quarter 2014, driven by an increase in flight volume, partially offset by a decrease in operating yields. Adjusted net income for the second quarter 2015 increased 12.6% to US$74.8m compared to the second quarter 20141. GAAP net income for the second quarter 2015 increased 18.3% year over year to US$76.7m. Adjusted pre-tax margin for the second quarter 2015 was 21.3%. On a GAAP basis, pre-tax margin for the second quarter 2015 was 21.8%. Spirit ended the second quarter 2015 with unrestricted cash and cash equivalents of US$769.3 million.
