Vortex Aviation Ireland receives EASA part 145 A1 and B1 rating

Vortex Aviation Ireland have received EASA part 145 Maintenance Organisation Approval A1 (Aircraft) line maintenance and B1 (Turbine Engine shop) rating for their new facility opened early 2015 in Shannon, Ireland. Vortex Aviation Ireland is a subsidiary of Vortex Aviation Fort Lauderdale, Florida, USA. Vortex Aviation is an MRO that specialises in the repair, trouble shooting, maintenance, Lease return and pre-purchase inspection of turbine engines on and off wing. The core business is worldwide AOG on wing support along with engine hospital shop repair facilities at Fort Lauderdale and Shannon for quick turn time solutions supporting owner/operators, lessors and traders of turbine engines. Vortex capabilities include GE, Pratt & Whitney, CFM, IAE and Rolls Royce product lines.
