Air New Zealand posts annual net profit of NZ$327m

Air New Zealand posted its 2015 annual result with earnings before taxation of NZ$496 million for the 2015 financial year, an increase of 49% on the prior year. Statutory earnings before taxation were NZ$474m, while statutory net profit after taxation was NZ$327m (US$210m), an increase of 24%. Capacity growth supported by strong demand, cost efficiencies and lower fuel prices has driven a year of significant earnings growth. Very strong operating cash flow of NZ$1.1bn was up 51% on the prior year.
