StandardAero signed a multi-year contract with Air KBZ, a top regional and the largest private airline in Myanmar, to perform customized maintenance, repair and overhaul services for PW127M turboprop engines on the airline’s fleet of ATR72-600 regional aircraft. The new contract covers services for both hot section inspections and overhauls with not to exceed guarantees for all the shop visits. All engines will be serviced at StandardAero’s Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada facility and the company already has inducted its first Air KBZ engine in that facility for repairs. The term of the contract includes MRO services through December, 2018.
