FAA approves Pan Am International Flight to conduct ATP-CTP training on Boeing 737NG

Pan Am International Flight Academy announced has been approved by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to conduct Airline Transport Pilot Certification Training (ATP-CTP) on the B-737NG. The company was approved in early August to conduct ATP-CTP training on the Airbus 320. This additional FAA approval makes Pan Am the only aviation training organization authorized to provide training on both platforms. The 6-day approved ATP-CTP program consists of 30 hours of academic training including: Aerodynamics, Meteorology, Air Carrier Operations, Leadership, CRM and Safety—and includes 10 hours of training and demonstration (4 hours fixed-base, 6 hours full flight) in either the A-320 or B-737 level D simulator respectively.
