In its capacity as advisor to fastjet, a growing pan-African low cost airline, SkyWorks has arranged the acquisition of one A319 aircraft (s/n 2891) from an entity managed by BBAM. The transaction marks the first aircraft purchase for fastjet and is added to its fleet of five leased A319s. Skyworks Leasing has arranged the sale of two MD11F aircraft (s/n 48549) to Bank of America N.A. and (s/n 48602) to Hinode Aviation Investments LLC, a GA Telesis acquisition vehicle. The aircraft are on lease to Federal Express Corporation until 2018. On behalf of a U.S. based investor, Skyworks has managed the lease return of five ERJ145LR’s (s/n’s 145078, 145080, 145085, 145091 and 145100) from ExpressJet. It subsequently arranged the sale of the aircraft to an undisclosed investor. SkyWorks has managed the lease return of three ERJ145EPs(s/n’s 145007, 145009, 145026) from ExpressJet. It arranged the sale of the aircraft to H5 Enterprises, a wet lease and charter operator. SkyWorks has managed the lease return of one ERJ145EP (s/n 145025) from ExpressJet, subsequently arranging the sale of the aircraft to H5 Enterprises, a wet lease and charter operator.
