AAR Navy vertical replenishment contract extended

AAR released that Military Sealift Command (MSC) has exercised a one-year renewal option for its Airlift division to perform vertical replenishment (VERTREP) services for the U.S. Navy’s 5th and 7th Fleets in the Western Pacific and Indian Oceans. The one-year renewal is valued at approximately US$14m. The contract was awarded to AAR Airlift Group in 2011 for an estimated total value of US$77m, including all options. The contract includes the use of four helicopters, personnel, and operational and technical support services.
