Airstream International Group has arranged the sale of three ATR72-500 aircraft to Novoair, Bangladesh. The aircraft were previously owned and operated by BQB Líneas Aéreas, Uruguay. The first aircraft has now completed its delivery flight having been repainted by Airbourne Colours at East Midlands Airport in the UK. The three aircraft will join Novoair’s existing fleet of three ERJ-145 aircraft, the sales of which were also arranged by Airstream. They will operate domestic services linking the major centres in Bangladesh. Novoair started operations in 2013 and has rapidly built a strong reputation as one of Bangladesh’s leading scheduled regional operators.
