Air Canada posts 2015 net income of CA$308m

Air Canada reported full year adjusted net income of CA$1.222bn, compared to adjusted net income of CA$531m in 2014, an improvement of CA$691m. EBITDAR (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, amortization and aircraft rent) amounted to CA$2.534bn compared to EBITDAR of CA$1.671bn in 2014, an improvement of CA$863m. On a GAAP basis, Air Canada reported operating income of CA$1.496bn in 2015, an increase of CA$681m from 2014. The airline reported net income of CA$308m in 2015 compared to net income of $105 million in 2014.
