IAG posts full year 2015 results

International Airlines Group (IAG) presented Group consolidated results for the year to December 31st, 2015. The Group posted fourth quarter operating profit of €540m excluding Aer Lingus and before exceptional items (2014: operating profit of €260m), including Aer Lingus €530m. Passenger unit revenue for the quarter was up 3.1%, excluding Aer Lingus and at constant currency down 3.7% including approximately 1 point adverse impact from Paris attacks. IAG reported operating profit for the year to December 31st, 2015 of €2,300m excluding Aer Lingus and before exceptional items (2014: operating profit of €1,390m), up 65%, including Aer Lingus €2,335m. Revenue for the year was up 13.3% to €22,858m and passenger unit revenue for the year down 3.5% at constant currency.
