Wizz Air appoints new CFO

Wizz Air has appointed Sonia Jerez Burdeus as the Group’s Chief Financial Officer and member of the company’s leadership team. Her appointment will take effect June 1st, 2016. A graduate in Physics and Engineering from the University of Barcelona and the University of Chicago with a Master of Business Administration, Ms. Jerez joins Wizz Air from Vueling Airlines S.A., a member of the International Consolidated Airlines Group S.A., where she has been the Chief Financial Officer and a Vueling board member since 2011.
