Avianor appoints new Vice President of Business Development

Rick Townsend has joined the Avianor team as Vice President of Business Development. Based in the United States, Mr. Townsend will be focused on developing new opportunities for Avianor in the U.S market, specifically targeting operators in need of Maintenance, Modification and Refurbishment (MRO) services for both Airbus and Boeing aircraft types initially. Mr. Townsend has over 35 years of experience in MRO industry and has a unique understanding of customer needs in this marketplace. In the past, he has held senior management positions with successful MRO companies such as Lufthansa Technik, AAR, PEMCO, FFV and Ascent Aviation Services.
