Air Serbia, the national airline of the Republic of Serbia, took delivery of its first wide-body aircraft at Nikola Tesla Airport. The Airbus A330 will be used on Air Serbia’s Belgrade-New York route, which launches on June 23, 2016, reconnecting Serbia and the United States with direct air service for the first time in 24 years.
