Aerostar releases financial results for 2015

Romanian aerospace company Aerostar S.A., has released its financial results for 2015, recording another successful year, with turnover up 21% and net profits increased by a substantial 61%. Exports represented some 77% of turnover, there was continued investment in plant and machinery and training, with employment remaining stable at just over 2000 people. During 2015 turnover on civil aircraft aerostructures and aviation production was some 41% of turnover, while turnover on civil aircraft MRO activities rose to 21%. Some 32% of turnover was accounted for by work on defence activities.
