PEMCO redelivers 1st converted aircraft to Salam Aviation

Cargo conversion company, PEMCO World Air Services (PEMCO), has redelivered its first B737-400 passenger-to-freighter (P2F) aircraft (MSN 25113) to Salam Aviation. The P2F aircraft for Salam Aviation, an aviation consultancy specializing in acquisitions, financing and logistics support, is set to be in service in the coming weeks. Performed at PEMCO’s headquarters at Tampa International Airport, the conversion was completed in only 90 days, adding to the company’s healthy 2016 on-time record. The newly PEMCO-converted aircraft features 11 pallet positions, up to 48,000 pounds of payload, and 4,600 cubic feet of total volume. The optimized center of gravity of PEMCO’s B737-400 freighter yields the highest possible usable payload and retains maximum best-in-class fuel efficiency for unbeatable range and operating economics.
