NAYAK Aircraft Service introduces inflight internet connectivity on NetJets Embraer Phenom 300 signature series fleet

NAYAK Aircraft Service successfully planned and conducted the implementation of satellite based inflight internet connectivity in conjunction with a powerful all in one Wi-Fi-based inflight entertainment system on the Embraer Phenom 300 aircraft type. A Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) for the necessary installation of a satellite connection antenna on the upper fuselage of the aircraft was developed by NAYAK and successfully gained EASA and FAA approval. The low profile, low gain, Inmarsat frequency antenna ensures that the smooth aerodynamic appearance of the Phenom 300 is only marginally influenced by the additional outboard antenna installation. Furthermore NAYAK did the compliance and installation work for the implementation of the COBHAM Aviator 200 system, which is used to establish the satellite connection to the Inmarsat Swift Broadband Internet Service, and to ensure a preferably reliable and performant interconnection between the different system components.
